Vertical Twin-Shaft Mixer

Design 

The housing consists of two overlapping cylinders with large cleaning doors and is firmly bolted to the mixer cover via a flange. The bearings of the two mixing tools are positioned at the top, separate from the mixing housing, allowing them to project overhung (cantilevered) towards the mixer bottom. As a result, the screw ribbon maintains a minimal distance from the mixing cylinder and the bottom, effectively preventing products from caking. Together with the form-fitting discharge flap, this feature leads to minimal residual amounts after the mixing process. For the highest hygienic standards, the inner surface is ground and polished. The sophisticated design with two co-rotating mixing tools enables the most demanding mixtures in an even shorter time.
