Magnetic Separators

In the demanding food industry as well as in many other hygiene-sensitive sectors, protecting consumers and machinery is the top priority. Therefore, magnetic separators are widely used for the reliable inspection and efficient separation of metallic contaminants.

MAIER builds these protection systems in all imaginable designs: whether with plates directly in the product stream or with highly effective rods integrated into pipe systems or as slide-in drawers. To safely capture even the finest magnetic particles, we use extremely powerful magnets with a field strength of up to 12,000 Gauss. Depending on the requirement, one- to three-layer magnet arrangements are used, proving themselves worldwide. For optimal operating comfort, our separators are equipped with a two-stage extractability, allowing the magnetic rods or plates to be easily pulled out for cleaning and completely cleared of metal particles. While many manufacturers offer standardized mass products, MAIER focuses on the real challenges in practice: often it is the tight, labyrinthine installation spaces on site. This is exactly where our strength lies. We develop customized housing solutions that fit perfectly into the existing infrastructure – true to our company motto: everything customized and individually tailored.
