Founding of a sole proprietorship by Josef Maier, millwright, with the acquisition of the property located at St. Gallerstrasse 98, Gossau
Joining of the son, Eugen Maier, now operating under the company name J. & E. MAIER AG
Purchase of a plot of land at Mooswiesstrasse 36 in Gossau and relocation to the new factory building with an office wing.
Entry of the 3rd generation in the person of Bruno Maier
Introduction of planning and design using CAD. The drawing board is replaced.
Construction of new production halls for production expansion
Expansion of the office wing by bridging to the production halls, including a cafeteria.
Introduction of 3D CAD for engineering and design
Entry of the 4th generation in the person of Jeannot Maier
