Metal Processing
The heart of our production halls in Gossau SG is our metalworking and mechanical manufacturing facility. We precisely shape sheet and profile steel on state-of-the-art CNC machines. Thanks to laser cutting systems, tube lasers, saws, boring mills, press brakes, and rollers, we meet almost every requirement in-house. We process normal and stainless steel, aluminum, and wear-resistant steels in every dimension. Finally, certified welders professionally assemble these components into high-quality in-house or third-party products.
Finish
High-quality surface treatment is essential for long-term value preservation and also sets optical accents. Stainless steel parts receive an even, matte finish through glass bead blasting. Normal steel parts are usually painted or powder-coated in our paint shop using modern spray systems. Whether priming, protective layers, or optical finishing – we react precisely to your specific requirements. Thanks to our powerful infrastructure with cranes and extraction systems, we efficiently process even large-format components.
Final Assembly
After the production of all semi-finished products, precise final assembly takes place. Here, MAIER combines its own manufactured parts with high-quality purchased components – such as drives, bearings, or seals – into a customer-specific machine. Through exact measuring, adjusting, and bolting, we ensure the highest quality standards. After a successful internal final inspection and the desired surface finish, the product is ready for delivery and final integration into your existing production line.
