Tubular Screw Conveyor

Design

Tubular screw conveyors in various diameters from 100 to 250 mm and of variable length are used as conveying, collecting, and dosing elements. They are more suitable for short distances. The pitch of the full-flight or spiral screws is progressive in order to prevent heavy friction and thus material wear. In the event of a product backup within the screw, an overflow flap serves as a reliable safety element. When used as a dosing element for different products, cleaning is central. In the hygienic version of tubular screw conveyors, the complete screw shaft with the welded full flights can be easily pulled out and cleaned.
