Trough Screw Conveyor

Design

This system is often used as a collecting or discharging element. Available in diameters from 100 to 450 mm, the length is variable, but limited without intermediate bearings, making it primarily suitable for short distances. In the inlet area, the pitch of the full-flight or spiral screw is progressive, after which it runs constantly. The flights are sturdily welded onto a shaft that is securely mounted on both sides. An integrated overflow flap also reliably prevents product backups and material wear within the screw. For optimal accessibility during maintenance, the conveyor trough can be manufactured with a removable cover.
