Design

Round silos are usually securely fastened to the floor or ceiling via three robust support brackets as well as corresponding supports or suspensions. They generally feature a conical discharge hopper; since the entire silo is thus constructed completely free of edges, this results in optimal discharge behavior. Unwanted product residues remain minimal when an appropriate surface treatment is applied. Should the downstream machine have a square inlet, MAIER designs the discharge tailored exactly to the respective customer requirements. Asymmetric variants or complex multiple discharges can also be custom-fit at any time.
