Horizontal Single-Shaft Mixer

Design 

The sturdy mixing shaft with its corresponding spiral ribbon is mounted on both sides in a robust trough. Power is transmitted from the motor to the shaft via a reliable chain drive. Through the targeted selection of the appropriate sprockets, the speed and thus also the exact retention time in the mixer are defined. This retention time is further influenced by the geometry of the mixing tool, which consists of two spirals with different angles of attack and diameters. Continuous filling of the mixer typically takes place via a flanged inlet, while a pneumatic flat slide valve at the outlet serves as a secure shut-off device.
