Flat Belt Conveyor

Design

The flat belt conveyor features an endless conveyor belt that runs over the drive pulley and return pulley. The belt can be precisely tensioned via an integrated take-up station (tensioning unit). The upper run of the belt glides on guide plates or carrying rollers. We manufacture these flat belts in widths from 100 to 500 mm, with the length being highly variable. Even belt conveyors up to 60 m have already been realized, for which a special tensioning device is used. Especially in the food industry or in pharmaceutical applications, the belt is not confined by lateral guide rails, but is equipped with corrugated sidewalls directly on the belt. This results in an extremely hygienic design. Furthermore, the flat belt conveyors can be implemented as angled or Z-shaped conveyors.
